What is a CEREC Same-Day Crown?
A CEREC crown is a dental crown made using CAD-CAM technology. Using the latest highly accurate scanner and super-fast mill, we can complete your crown in a single appointment without having to deal with a temporary crown or a second appointment. In under 90 minutes, you will leave with a beautiful, strong and white zirconia crown.
What is zirconia and what will it look like?
Zirconia crowns are made from zirconium dioxide, a white powdered ceramic material. Its ceramic properties and the fact that it is milled from a single block make it an extremely strong and beautiful option for dental crowns. Its strength allows for far thinner dental crowns than those made with other materials. Creating a strong, yet thin crown is ideal as it only requires a minimal amount of healthy tooth to be removed for placement. Retaining as much of your natural tooth as possible will ensure that your tooth lasts as long as the crown.
Zirconia’s ceramic properties and natural white coloring make for a relatively effortless match to the rest of your smile. It comes in several forms, each with its own level of translucency. We will always do our best to make sure it blends seamlessly with your other teeth.
Why do you not accept insurance?

We provide our patients with all the information and images you will need to submit your claim to your insurance. You will then receive a check directly from your insurance which makes the cost of your crown even less. By spending 10 minutes of your time to submit the claim, we can keep our costs even lower providing you the best value possible.
